Senator Saliu Mustapha, the Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, extends his heartfelt condolences to Emir of Ilesha Baruba, His Royal Highness, Professor Halidu Abubakar and the entire people of Baruten Local Government Area of the state, following the demise of a former Deputy Governor of Kwara State , Elder Peter Kishira.
Senator Mustapha particularly condoled with the widow, children and extended family of the former Deputy Governor for losing their illustrious patriarch. He asked them to reflect on and take solace in Elder Kishira’s profound impact and legacy, and his commendable service to the government and people of Kwara State.
“Elder Peter Kishira’s departure is deeply felt, not only by his immediate community but by the entire people of Kwara State. His significant contributions to our state’s development will be remembered and cherished,” stated Senator Mustapha.
The Turaki of Ilorin Emirate and the Chairman Senate Committee on Agriculture prays for the repose of the soul of the deceased and asked God to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
